Fight Overview
Damage done to the four mini-bosses damages Arisen Arak. You won't be able to ignore all the other adds to focus on Arisen Arak during the mechanics phases.
This boss is less about specific linear phases and more about various boss abilities interspersed between four summoned bosses. Knowing what each buff or debuff does and where to go when "that one thing" happens means the difference between living and dying. This will be broken up into two pieces: Boss abilities and mini-bosses. Here is the chain of events:

Knowing what each buff or debuff does and where to go when "that one thing" happens means the difference between living and dying. This will be broken up into two pieces: Boss abilities and mini-bosses. Here is the chain of events:
- 100-85%, all three adds, twisted desire, normal boss mechanics.
- 85% transition, the 4 colored lasers in the corners
- 85% after transition, first mini (order depends in which order you killed the wing bosses during farm, e.g. doing enigma first will spawn enigma at 85%)
- Nodule, a few seconds after first mini dies
- After nodule dies, second mini
- After second mini dies (technically third) normal boss mechanics, except no twisted desire. Instead "Gigas Flare", large red aoe that everyone needs to run out of or get oneshot
- 30% last mini-boss
- Only terrors spawn, no other mechanics, prep your DPS for...
- 5%, burn phase. This is the last push. Nuke hard my friend.
Arisen Arak Mechanics
Tyrannus Genesis - He will drop an array of about six damaging circles that will start to cause damage after about 5 seconds. Don't stand in them He will drop them on people, not random locations. This mechanic happens at the beginning of the fight, after you kill a Dream of Arak add, and during the Enigma/Dark Genesis phase. They persist and the recasts don't remove the old ones. Expect to see up to about 12-18 before they despawn.
Add Phase
There about six flying adds that come out. DPS them down. They each have their own mechanics you will need to learn to be successful.
Titanic Swing - This used to one-shot tanks. It can still one shot tanks, or anybody else who's not standing in the green or blue circles. Be sure the tank responsible for killing the Terror of Arak (and using the Ethereal Pocket reactive) drops the green AoE in time. Make note that the damage comes in the MIDDLE of this cast, not the end.
Damage Pulse Mechanic - At 85%, Four white circles will begin pulsing the the four corners of the room. Split up into four groups of five and ride it out. Put your main tank in the front left group to give them that tank's guard and you can put the other tank where it may be needed for a second guard heavy group.
Nodule of Nightmare Energy (87.4M) - Between the second and third mini-boss Arisen Arak will do a cast that requires you to get into a green Ethereal Pocket circle or die, so immediately kill the Terror of Arak that spawns. Right after the cast you will gain a reactive to jump in the nodule and basically "pop the big green puss filled zit". All you see here are assholes and elbows but you have about a minute to help Arisen Arak with his hygiene problem or die. It's rather disorienting. Proceed to mini-boss two and three.
Gigas Flare - After the 3rd mini-boss dies there will be a large red AoE you need to get out of or die.
Broken Ice Chunks - At 30% (basically after the 3rd mini-boss) the chunks of ice on the sides and the back break away and you have a much smaller platform to deal with. This plays into Hard Mode we'll get into later.
Add Phase
There about six flying adds that come out. DPS them down. They each have their own mechanics you will need to learn to be successful.
- Terror of Arak - This add gives the person that lands the killing blow on it a buff called "Fearless" which increases all damage done by 100% for 60 seconds. That person will also get a new reactive ability called "Ethereal Pocket" which is used to spawn the green safe zone that you need for Titanic Swing. In addition to that, the tank that has aggro on the terror will keep getting buff stacks rapidly, increasing damage done to the Dream of Arak by 2% each. Meaning that tank is going to be responsible for killing the dream on time.
- Dream of Arak - Killing it will instantly make all active spectres of nightmare disappear. It will also trigger the bosses Tyrannus Genesis cast and (only till 85%) spawn an add called "Twisted Desire". Also removes stacks applied by the Terror of Arak, so those two have to be tanked by different tanks.
- Twisted Desire - It is immune for about 10 seconds, after which it will become vulnerable and start pulsing red aoe that will wipe anyone who is not either in the green safe zone from casting Ethereal Pocket or in the blue area around the Twisted Desire.
- Spectre of Nightmare - These do some tank damage but more importantly cast "Perfect Terror" every so often, which is a 6 second cast that has to be interrupted or the raid will wipe. Can be instantly killed by killing the Dream of Arak, usually when 2-3 are up.
- Light of Ruin - During this mechanic you will need to continually cleanse and heal, even if you have the shadow reactive up.

Mini-Bosses
(Always paired with Rakind): Tyranus Genesis persists through these two bosses.
Shadow of Lythinia (178.3M Health) - A shadow of envy will come out. This is the first mini-boss.
[Name] is marked by the blood of envy - Places a red AoE on a player for the start of Performance Envy.
The Shadow of Lythinia whispers to [Name] - Single target cleanse these people as soon as they come up.
Performance Envy - This puts a red AoE around a few players that will spread to anyone else.
Desire - 10 second cast that causes damage that increases the further from Envy you are. Gather in close.
Spark of Lust - About halfway through the fight a purple orb zooms away from the boss, picks a spot and does a red pulsing AoE. It hurts you to death.
------------------------------
Shadow of Rakind (57.8M) - A shadow of Dark Genesis will come out. This is the second mini-boss.
Redirect Super Nova - Kill him before he...redirects...the Super Nova....and hurts you. It might be healable with cooldowns, maybe not, but do you really want to risk it? You have 47 seconds. GO! (1.23M raid DPS)
Persistent AoE - The entire area gains a red AoE. You'll just have to heal through it.
------------------------------
------------------------------
Shadow of Asuramyth (183.7M) - A shadow of Lady Justice appears
Cleave - She cleaves, with her scales, it hurts. You'll see a red pizza slice. Stay away from the pizza slice. It is not delicious.
Trial by Fire: The room will be split into 3 concentric lanes plus the inner circle. Only one lane is active (survivable to stand in ) at a time. Just stand in the right ring of Captain America's shield.
Fiery Absolution: AOE on a random player. Just move out when these happen.
Sphere of Wrath - Red spheres will rotate counter clockwise in what appears to be a slightly wavy pattern near the outside. Everyone needs to collect these prior to her spawning as they give a 2% buff to DPS per stack for 25 seconds.
Reasonable Doubt - Two people will be selected to be immune from the red circle dance for 90 seconds (but not the cleave). These people need to collect more Spheres of Wrath to extend the debuff beyond 25 seconds.
------------------------------
Shadow of C'Zyth (178.3M) - A shadow of The Enigma will come out of the ground. Don't stand on that spot when he does.
Sunder: 180° back cleave. 6s cast. Just stay out of it. Make sure your tank is good at strafing.
Weight of the World: This is a huge hit on the tank. Use CD's. Use lots of CD's. When you're done using CD's use more CD's. Your tank should get hit with this twice.
Implosion - The boss will cast four lasers that move counter clockwise and do a lot of damage. Every few seconds he will do five implosions one after the other and get an 85% slow. Just keep running out of it and do your leap or other get away mechanic after the 5th pull. You may be able to rotate with the lasers so when you get pulled you're not taking damage. Have your cleansers follow a cleanse rotation for each pull.
------------------------------
After four bosses:
Add phase - More adds will spawn but it appears to be fewer of them. A chain of one particular mob seems to keep coming over and over again. Just keep killing it.
DPS Race - At 5% you will have 30 seconds before the last platform breaks and you all die a miserable death after suffering though this whole fight. You need to sustain 2.43 Million Raid DPS for 30 seconds. Slow/Stop DPS at about 6-7% so everyone can reset their CD's for maximum nukage. You know what else stacks your maximum nukage? The Terror of Arak buff. Don't break the seal until you have 5+ people that have killed a Terror of Arak. That's how you get maximum nukage.
Stationary lasers - About six lasers will come out of Arisen Arak. Just stay out of those spots and continue to kill the add and Arak, until Arak dies again, then everybody dies as the ice is shattered.

Hard Mode
The difference between normal and hard mode is that the fourth mini-boss is always Shadow of Lady Justice. This means that you have a much smaller platform to work with since the extra ice falls away between mini-bosses 3 and 4. Other than that there is no difference, so Justice dies last and get a relic helm and an extra Cosmic.

Loot Table
We've seen like....one Hard Mode kill, so the loot table is pretty sparse. We should be able to guess some of the other drops, but this is all we know about so far.
